250th Sitting 03/05/2018

We had the room setup as usual.

Liz did the opening prayer at 7.35pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

I drifted in and out of sleep for about 50 minutes.

Liz felt someone with her, she felt a pressure on her head like a hand.

I started to be controlled and Liz turned down the music...

Liz... 'Welcome friend'

'Good evening, good evening...'

Liz... 'Good evening'

'Time to come and speak once again, see how we can give you something that you will think about, something which will open your mind to new ideas, new thoughts, new ways of thinking. Many times we have brought ourselves through and each time we begin to widen our ability to give you the answers that you require for you are always seeking answers, seeking information that will explain to you how your world works, how that what surrounds your world works what it is like to be in that world yet you also have to bring your mind out of your physical world to understand. You have to leave the familiarity of physical matter, physical experience, leave that and reach forward, reach upwards. Take your mind into a place that is receptive to new information, new ideas. There is always a tendency to liken the spiritual world to the physical world for you are so immersed in the physical world that it blinds you to further thoughts, further sights. We can only give you the merest glimpse of our world until you can take yourself into this place, a place free of physical sensation and physical thoughts'

Liz... 'From what I have read it sounds very much as though the next world for many people is very like this one and it feels as physical as this world does and they have sensations and feelings very much like in this world. But that is at a certain level and from what I've read I understand that there are further levels where things become more difficult to describe because its less like the physical world'

'There is a gradual loosening of the mind from the familiarity of physical life. Reports will come back explaining the similarities of the physical world and the spiritual world. Once you have experienced the first stage after death, once you have woken up into what appears to you to be another physical world you will begin to ask questions, you will begin to wonder what is in store for you. It will feel like you are asleep, it will feel like you want to wake up. You will know that there is more, you will know that there is a greater reality to be experienced yet your memory of physical life is holding you to the familiar surroundings. You will be met by those who will help you. They will understand your feelings, they will take you to places where you can think for yourself, where you can be alone but you will not be alone, you are being watched, you are being observed by yourself, by that greater part of yourself and you will feel the presence of a greater part of yourself, you will feel it with you, that feeling will grow stronger and you will begin to understand your true self, your total self and you will see yourself as a smaller part and you will understand your physical live, you will understand the reason for your physical life. You will see the mistakes you have made and you will see the progress you have made. You will begin to understand why you lived your physical life and you will see future opportunities of another physical life if that is what you choose to do'

Liz... 'I have a question to ask about mediumship, about platform mediumship in spiritualist churches. My question is whether the medium is gaining information from the information fields around the people in the congregation more than from discarnate entities who are there giving them the information or whether it’s a mixture of both, whether some mediums are operating clairvoyantly, reading the fields around the congregation and whether some are genuinely tuning into discarnate entities. Is it possible to say or to know or is it a mixture of both?'

'It is a combination; one thing leads to another. A true medium will be receptive to that what is needed. A congregation will contain many people, they will have their own thoughts directed at that medium. There will be a feeling of urgency felt by the medium. Those who will benefit from receiving a message from a loved one in the spiritual world, they will receive that message, those from the spiritual world will do their best to get that message through and the medium's job is to listen for that message, to recognise that message as the message of greatest importance. Once that message has been felt it will lead to a stronger communication that will link to the person who is in need of that comfort. All mediumship is a form of healing and those who are in need of reassurance will get their message. You are connected to all of consciousness and when you are in that state, that receptive state you can pick up the thoughts of those who are in the room with you on a physical level and you can pick up the thoughts of those who are in spirit. They are also with you. You just need to listen and accept the communication that comes through. Always speak that what you hear, do not be afraid that it may be wrong. The more you practice, the more you will recognise the strength of an urgent message and you will direct that message to the person who requires the healing gained by a connection with a loved one. The physical thoughts of those who share that room with you may also be picked up but they will lead you to a connection from spirit. Is this understandable to you?'

Liz... 'Yes, thank you yes'

'There are many different views on life after death, each person in your world who has thought, who has questioned themselves, who has seeked out answers, they have brought to themselves an understanding, they have seen from their own perspective how life in a spiritual world would exist. It is a unique view point from each person in your world. As each person begins to understand they will see their own picture developing in their mind yet that picture is constantly changing. Your physical world is a world of experience and that too is constantly changing. You all need to understand that it is not wise to fix your ideas on one picture. Think of that picture as a moving, evolving picture and each experience you have will further develop that picture, that understanding. From the viewpoint of the physical world you will not truly understand the totality of life beyond the physical yet you will have that picture and you will develop that picture as you move through life. Consciousness is constantly evolving and you are part of that constant moving forward. Consciousness also has a picture which evolves. You are consciousness, one small part of consciousness with a unique picture. Many pictures create one picture, one evolving picture. You are all putting your own input into an evolving reality, an evolving greater reality of which you all are a part. Take your time to consider the part you play in the creation of that what you wish to understand and see how your input into that reality is shaping that reality. Many minds work as one yet each mind sees itself as a creator of its own picture, its own reality. See yourself as part of a bigger picture and you will see how life is constantly changing. What is true today will be changed tomorrow... Thank you my dear friend, we have reached the end of our session this evening. I felt back with it after about one minute.

Liz then did the closing prayer, sent out healing and did our closing down exercise.

Liz still felt there was someone with her. She felt only half here and a feeling of being taken over. She got the name Francis. The coming of the crown. A sense of a great urge towards realisation. A lot of children, a lot of people wanting their presences felt.

Liz did another closing down exercise then felt back with it...
